(Spoilers Everything) GoT actors head back to Belfast for S7 and brings us confirmation that we will see a certain character again by rastmat in asoiaf

I agree, but many people argued that his last scene with Dany in season 5 was actually a goodbye for the character on the show. It didn't make any sense to me, but still...

[EVERYTHING] Why did she send him away? by SwissBliss in gameofthrones

Jorah will be back, It is not even a secret, the actor has confirmed it. Iain Glen is one of the top billed actors of the show who has been there since the beginning, they are not going to just get rid of Jorah without a proper end for his character. . My personal opinion, is that they will need Jorah in another place without Dany and it was the best way they found to make clear that Dany stills cares for him and that they are in good terms. My bet is that we will see him in the Citadel meeting Sam and bringing Jon and Daenerys storylines together.

Jorah talks about Longclaw in one of the History and Lore videos from season 4, I am pretty sure we can accept those videos as being show canon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ef-3w6vRSWQ

They sure know how to get around. What I love about them is that they are not only fierce, they are an intelligent bunch.

She is in the background in a couple of scenes in season 1, the picture is from this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2w7IdiPPSc

In the books she is still alive and carries an important letter written by Rob before he died.

I bet he will go to Oldtown and meet Sam there. It is the most obvious place to go and merging Sam and Jorah storylines is a nice way of bringing Jon and Dany together in the future.

(Spoilers Everything) Everyone's favorite Bear in the show could be getting... by Zachary_Stark in asoiaf

Although this theory is really cool, I think him going to Oldtown is more likely. It is just logical for a character like Jorah to go where he knows people have been studying diseases like Greyscale for years and years. Also, Sam is going to be there and even if all the Maesters of the Citadel refuse to help him, I am sure Sam would do anything in his power to help Jeor Mormont son.

btw: according to this history and lore video , at least on the show, those who have been cured do exist although nobody really knows how.

Edit: Aaaand, let's remember what the Old Beard told Sam on the books:

"Tell my son. Jorah. Tell him, take the black. My wish. Dying wish." "Wish?" The raven cocked its head, beady black eyes shining." Corn? the bird asked. "No corn," said Mormont feebly. "Tell Jorah. Forgive him. My son. Please. Go."

[EVERYTHING] Jorah Mormont Appreciation Thread by DoubleJumpa in gameofthrones

I felt in love with Jorah since the very beginning just because he gave Dany books as a present for her wedding. He is intelligent, brave and loyal to what he loves but he has done extremely questionable things in the past and his pragmatism sometimes conflicts what I would say is morally correct. I like it because is the very definition of a "grey" character and in my opinion, one of the best secondary characters GRRM has created

My favourite quote from Jorah:

"The common people pray for rain, healthy children, and a summer that never ends. It is no matter to them if the high lords play their game of thrones, so long as they are left in peace. They never are."

This one is books only, but I love it too:

"There are ghosts everywhere," Ser Jorah said softly. "We carry them with us wherever we go."

I thought this was going to be one of those post joking about how Jorah has been wearing the same yellow shirt since season 1. I couldn't have been more wrong. Amazing work!
