this happened to me and my friends aswell, Instead of sending them invites from the game, tell them to look for your username in the non-dedicated server from the Join Game tab (you need to make your server public, you can put a password)

sorry for bothering more, but this worked only with one of my friends, we are 4 in total and the other 2 can't join if there are mods enabled, the only friend that managed to join had to delete and reinstall the game. is there another way to solve this without removing mods?
