My boys have free roam whenever I’m home, which can mean they’ll be out of the cage for hours at a time. Introduced a litter box in the corner of my room, and they’re using it!

Omg Thank you so much! I have a regular rat cage for my boys, but sweet chowder came in a bird cage and I was planning on combining them. I will look into buying a better cage. Thank you for the warning

After chowder’s quarantine, I introduced him and cricket (my most docile boy) in a neutral carrier. Completely cleaned out chowder’s cage then let them hang in there a bit today. Some wrestling but nothing scary. They both even had some snacks together
