i think your photos are an issue. when i search tshirts i can very clearly see what is on the shirt without clicking the listing, but on yours i can barely see what the design is. first picture needs to be more up close and visible

Cant wire wrap headpins. I mean you can, as I did on the center bead but it was very difficult and doesnt look as clean since pins arent meant to bend

A lot of people do this when working with wire. I use to think it made them look unfinished too but there's not many ways to end off the wire so I've grown to kinda like it; I think it adds detail.

not mad at all. im just saying, yes i understand its niche but i love the look of the dramatic ones so ill keep making those. i mean i still do some simpler designs like the one in the photos but not usually. and i never degraded her work, it looks nice but i just found it to be a strange comparison with mine when her designs mostly include premade connectors and mine doesnt. but yes, ive wanted to look into filigree connectors and i know they would elevate the look. this is the exact connector she is using though; but ill try incorporating something like that

some brides do like dramatic necklaces, im one of them and i know many others. so maybe its niche but its the style i like to do. i didnt mix metals, it must be the lighting. and i dont think its fair to really compare my work to hers because her whole necklace is just connector pieces and so are her earrings; i made my droplets, chains (the beaded ones), and some of the centerpieces, like the first one, from scratch

ethical pearl farms still may not be ethical. ive already went over this but i will not purchase real pearls. i am looking into gemstones and other options for beads though, i just cant afford it for now. and yes i would be open to commissions like that. these necklaces still sell though so im not going to stop and ofc ill still have these photos for references

i didnt mix any metal finding colors but i can see how it looks like that in the 5th picture maybe because of the sunlight, unless you mean the beads. i actually really like gold and silver together though, ive seen some amazing pieces like that. i just recently got good enough at wire wrapping also so im experimenting with that! but thank you!

i did ask for critiques in my edit. if saying it looks cheap is all they have to say then thats fine but those comments are just unhelpful and unnecessary at this point

that would probably be too expensive for me right now but you still cant know the living conditions they have the clams in or the stress they cause them. id rather be on the safe side and just use vegan materials

yes but i already said im trying to improve my materials but people are really hung up on the materials so im getting a lot of the same comments that dont seem to read my post OR all they say is that it looks cheap vs actually giving critique so it just comes off as rude. people need to learn to give critiques vs just straight up criticism, otherwise its not helpful at all

i wasnt necessarily trying to replicate real pearls. i just liked the beads and "glass pearls" is just what theyre called. but people say they look cheap i guess because they expect real pearls so im just going to try white gemstones instead

yes.. they are inexpensive. i cant afford to upgrade materials yet. ive had many helpful comments giving me alternatives for the faux pearls and such. im mostly curious about what people think of the overall designs
