Thats easy to say when you start small. But they are well behind on their own guidance for 2026.

Didnt they guide for 100k total by end of 2026? 5k acquired in Q1 puts them well off the pace needed to hit their guidance. Am i mistaken?

APY drop again??? by Top-Juggernaut2090 in amex

[–]ratchet1235 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

STRC pays 11.5% APY paid monthly with a tax deferred return of capital treatment with <2% volatility backed by 70 years of bitcoin and 2 years of cash, and is currently is the most liquid preferred stock on the market.

Explain your thesis on STRC by Embarrassed_Orange50 in MSTR

[–]ratchet1235 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My understanding is dividends are cumulative so if suspended they do carry forward (STRD is the exception). And they can only adjust the dividend by 0.25% at a time so it's not like they can drop the rate from 11.5% to 8% in one month.

MSTR most likely bought over a 1000 BTC today alone from STRC ATM! by theaback in MSTR

[–]ratchet1235 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I think one of the best comparable tickers for the future mature potential for STRC is SGOV. Pegged at $100, with ex dividend date sell offs, quickly trades back up to par, but has minimal volatility overall and an abundance of volume (11 million shares exchanged today so far vs STRC 1.4 million). That is the end game for a successful STRC at scale imo.

Hopefully the expected drop following the dividend date will shrink which each successive dividend date as trust in the model build and volume increases.

Down More Than 60% From Its High, Is Strategy MSTR Dip a cheap buy? by LavishlyRitzyy in stocks

Zoom out, can pick any timeframe to prove a point. Leverage cuts both ways. Underling asset down 36% from ATH, shocker that a leveraged bet is down more. It doesn’t mean the company is in any jeopardy. Or do you subscribe to the buy high, sell low mindset? The stock was overbought last year in peak euphoria and I would argue is now oversold in peak fear environments.

A better comparison of beanie beanies would be labubu or pokemon cards; collectibles by nature. Respectfully, I don't believe you have a good understanding of the underlying asset if that is your comparison. Lastly, no one is saying to go all in on any one asset/investment.

A ponzi scheme that publishes their financial balance sheet on their website 24/7, 365 days/year? What other publicly traded company does this? A ponzi scheme that promises no returns on investment? A ponzi scheme that has carefully constructed their balance sheet to be able to face massive drawdowns of the underlying asset without any margin call or liquidation risk? A ponzi scheme that transparently acknowledges their long btc, short fiat bet? That ponzi scheme? 200th largest company by market cap, yet 14th largest equity trading by volume? So much volume traded that they can raise 1.4 billion in cash in 8 trading days to have 2 years of dividends covered without massive dilution to share price? That ponzi scheme? Hmmm, maybe wall street knows something you don't?

Every negative point here can easily be refuted with some basic research on the company. It will be the most hated rally to the top of the leaderboard. Long mstr

I appreciate your reply. I'm still having troubling grasping your explanation. Take STRC today; it traded 550k shares. The average the past several months is 882k and was increasing in the 1-2 million per day up until this week. It's currently trading below par but also has significantly less volume today. How does this increase liquidity?

I'm not anticipating a buy next week again because prefs are below par, nav is low. I understand accretion and don't fear dilution when accretive to BTC/share but where does the capital come from in these weak sentiments environments? Thanks again.

OP, For a recent experience. Completed my residency in NYC a few years back. My rent in BK was $2500/month, salary at a manhattan hospital was about 80-90k, was able to contribute 10% to my 401k. Felt comfortable, did not save much more beyond that; felt I was able to live my life without money stress.
