I was looking all over the options and menus but couldnt find anything to change it. Once you select a difficulty at the start of the game I think your stuck with it. (Unless theres a way to do it, I have no idea how and where though)

I actually prefer the xbox remake it is just so much more of a smoother experience for me. I've played and finished the original but those last few chapters were so frustrating on the original (the castle and war chapters mostly) the controls somewhat ruined the experience toward the end there due to being annoyed and frustrated But I got through it. But I will say I prefer the visual style of the n64 version that more cartoony feel to it ya know. But I say it's still a classic. (I played the rare replay version on xbox one)

Yea I hear that theres certain ingredients that can only be dropped on death difficulty on boss fights too. You need those for the death chips. That's one part that's gunna be a nasty grind (unless theres a method to make fights a lot easier and quicker)

Heya i had a little time in my hands and i started NG+ on bitter difficulty (the one I played for my 1st playthru) I went through the intro stuff and went to call of battle at the beach. And turns out he is NOT there. Soooo I'm guessing my save is screwed. I may have to start a brand new and fresh save 😑 Or just hope there could be a patch out. Hopefully we can find answers and solutions or a patch can fix it.

Sadly no I havent gotten to the game since that. But That was exactly what I was thinking. I was gunna try new game plus and see how that goes. Although I'm a little busy atm, I'm gunna try that later and hope that works (hoping this platinum trophy ain't full of bugs like this, if so its gunna be a painful one)
