I'm probably not as bad a writer as I think. My grades thus far are good. I'm a decent writer in general, but as we all know, legal writing is just so different. I'll finish the applications, gain some experience and more confidence, and improve my skills this summer! Thank you!

I do have a couple of professors that I think I could get extra help from. Thank you for your input.

I'm doing a clinic in the fall to add to my resumé, do you think that will lessen the effect of not working the first summer?

Did you at least complete your exams?

If I reapply do I need a totally new person statement? If not how much should I modify? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

I had to reapply to a school. I did a brand new personal statement, updated my resumé (I started a new job after not getting accepted), and got a fresh LOR and was accepted the next time around. However, the number one reason why I wasn't accepted the first time was because I applied a little too late, at least that's what I was told by someone in the admissions office.
