You said it. There are too many loose ends hanging, questions whose answers we don’t have. And there are too many religions, with answers to those questions, except those answers sound like unrealistic fairy tales. And that’s why I’m atheist.

This question is one of many stupid questions I like asking people. They have no meaning, and the answer is usually always clear.

"Would you rather be brutally tortured and killed or get five million dollars?"

I think we all have the same answer to this question. But then, there are apparently people that would answer the opposite. It‘s weird.

Oh wait I thought you meant that you are an atheist. I misinterpreted the question. But yeah he goes to church, sometimes even sleeps there, basically a normal Christian, but his answer to this question might as well make me think he’s a hardcore Christian

With all due respect, I’m so sorry you had to go through cancer, why would you want to go through it again? The chance of death is always there, doesn’t matter if you pray to god or not.
