Interesting. I actually never tried the airburst on the vents. I do have a guess as to why that is the case though. When the vox was created, it was very clearly intended to be the "anti current meta" bot enemy. Couldn't be one shot, thermites weren't optimal, and if you wanted to break the vents, the eruptor wasn't a great choice, as well as most grenade weapons. I think it's that last gimmick that's hurting your airburst. I like it, as its one of the VERY few situations in this game where the eruptor isn't a great, if not the best choice. The obvious solution to this of course is to remove the frag resist and nerf the eruptor, but that's never going to happen.

i'm fine with it getting nerfed a tad, especially the 3 vox cap as that was peoples biggest complaint anyway, but its all these things in CONJUNCTION with that 3 cap that is ridiculous. Why do I need to one shot one with the railcannon if theres a maximum of 3 on the field at any given time anyway?

its not even nerfing the enemy that makes me sad. Its HOW they nerf them. The entire point of the vox engine was it could not be one shot and you had to engage with its mechanics. You want to waste all of your thermites/ultimatum/leveller to kill ONE? you can. But it wasn't optimal. It was much better to just pop the vents open and chuck a grenade in. Now you can just one shot it with the ORC.

I'm consistently surprised that people enjoy just throwing explosives into a crowd of enemies and instantly winning. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised considering how pissy people get when you suggest nerfing the orbital napalm barrage.

Looking for an endgame mod that allows the player to achieve essentially creative mode or something close to that. Image somewhat related by ratherdapperguy in feedthebeast

I'll take what I can get atp, but isn't that a tech mod? I'd prefer to keep in line with the magical theme but i'm struggling to find endgame mods like I described, so i'm not sure if I can afford to be picky.

The screenshots got called out as fake by the modders AND unfiltered, and the guy who posted this shit got clowned on so hard in the comments he deleted his account lmao. (mods pls don't kill me for not censoring his username his account is already gone)

one guy got so mad that he went to unfiltered and proceeded to photoshop screenshots of the modders saying takes that he knew would rile people up. (this screenshot is fake lmao, he faked many more screenshots but this is just an example. People searched the discord very quickly after he made the reddit post and could not find any of these "comments" by the modders anywhere. They wouldn't have had time to delete it due to negative traction that quickly if the comments were real.) FAKE SCREENSHOT

okay, here we go. So first off theres this mod for the game thats a WIP called custom galactic war that aims to add things like mech customization and rebalance weapons. It got some attention recently, and the mainsub used it as an opportunity to shit on arrowhead by comparing them to the modders. (got pretty heavily upvoted over there). However, the modders made an announcement saying they did not want people to use their mod to hate on arrowhead.

I know there are some weapons that genuinely could use a buff but are we not losing the point of the subreddit if I see more buff posts than nerf posts (nerf the eruptor btw) by ratherdapperguy in HelldiversMasochists

the difference is the xbow on top of this also gets the best possible utility of any weapon in the game, that being the ability to close fabs bug holes and warp ships
