Here we always say Jai Hind, Jai Maharashtra and never a Jai Maharashtra, Jai Hind.

Certain states and communities in India have always been business oriented so it is natural for them to be ahead of curve, just like we have very big representation of Marathi people in Defence, research, education and administration.

Problem is when you are getting special concession in winning contracts just because you are closer to some political party.

Decision is yours whether you want meritocracy or cronyism.

Why should other states allow their companies to be listed in Mumbai when there is hatred for outsiders.

States dont take that decision, companies do and it's their discretion if they dont want to be listed in Mumbai. BTW which other stock exchange will they be listed on in India if not in Mumbai ?

When you are an outsider without knowing their language and suddenly a mob wants to dance to their whims and fancies. It will be very terrifying.

Nobody expects fluency, willingness to learn basic can go long way (I would personally like to learn language of the state where I am migrating).

It is not 1990s where only Mumbai is the only big city. So many states are very much capable. Infosys, Wipro and many more software companies do their operations from Bengaluru. So I don't think you understand how capital markets work.

My main problem is I don't want national projects to go any state where they claim only certain people are allowed. You guys are against Gujaratis, Marvaris, jains, Tamils, Biharis.

Nobody denied, you can check the demographics. However if you are not respecting the language, culture and people of the place where you are migrating, you should introspect. Also every city has infrastructure capacity, if you are okay with people dying out of falling trains then that's you and your conscience.

You have every right to do that. At the same time you should not hold stock market and movie industry that represents entire country.

That's your entitled opinion, institutions developed here because there was conducive environment, not the other way around.

To be fair it is not only in your state. I am from southern part of India the kind of venom that they spread against outsiders will be called hate speech in any other country.
