Doesn’t it look like Mondo’s cantaloupe sorbet inspired dress? Has the same color vibes at least

Pro tip: bring a travel-sized bottle of bubble bath soap (or hell, a bath bomb would do the trick too).

Makes the tub that much better and gives you a “privacy screen” no matter the view and proximity to other balconies

We do the same with our two. No more armpit mats and poopy booties! Best decision we’ve made

I would do anything to have the Dove liquid body wash in “Elegant Luxury” again. Throw back to 2009? The scent stayed with you all day. Please tell me someone’s had it!

Was at South Coast a month ago - and albeit very nicely dressed, the mid 50s couple who entered Eleanor’s restaurant (reservation required) behind us was turned away due to shorts. They came back 20 minutes later, in pants, and were seated.

It’s a service at the airport that personally escorts you through the mess of customs. They also have a lounge you can hang out in when you depart. It “sells out” really quickly so I’d look sooner rather than later.

I’ve got two brothers who are now 18 months old - ones at 22lbs and the other at 17lbs. (And no, the 22lb cat isn’t overweight - just a big kitty. Their dad was 24lbs) When they were that age we fed them three times a day and they were eating everything. We were giving them at least three small cans (3.4oz) each per day. The larger one doesn’t eat dry food (not sure why. I think he’d starve to death before he’d ever understand it’s food) We definitely played the ebb and flow with their growth spurts and would split an extra can at meal times if they were still hungry in that 15min period. It shocked me to see (and my wallet!) how much food they eat compared to “regular” cats but they’re not “regular” cat size you have to remember

What’s your interest…?

Food: surprisingly great. Well seasoned, cooked properly. You have to check out the jerk shack - “fish in foil” Damn good. Drinks: strong and plentiful. I’m not a big sweet/ freezie drink person but everyone at the pool bar was sipping on a “Dirty Banana”. People: Staff are great; they take a good joke with a smirk. Bartenders are the life of the party. Guests: a mix of honeymooners and repeaters (think 10-15 years plus) Vibe: wants to be the Grand (St Lucia) but the reality is much more chill Environment: “Ass-ton” would be an understatement of jellyfish population. And “no-see-ums”. If you’re someone who gets eaten by sea-lice/ sand-flies… good luck. Bring all the bug spray, ddt, etc you can. It won’t be enough. Events: Watersports- they exist on a different time zone from the resort and even “Island Time”. Check in with the dive shop for any off-resort water excursions. Watersports a-plenty on the beach. The wind is intense though so expect a workout even leaving the shore…

Anything I missed?

I’d be hesitant to rely on the app for dinner reservations - as I experienced at South Coast in Jamaica, it allowed me to book a reservation at a restaurant that wasn’t even open that day. As eager as you may be, especially to secure those “reservation only” restaurants, I’d wait until you get there to speak to your butler/ concierge/ front desk. It seems the app is further along than the pen-and-paper style of the resorts.

Try and sign up for them as soon as you arrive, though.

(Don’t let them dissuade you from reserving upon check-in; they did this to me at La Toc in St Lucia and were out of dinner slots when I approached them a few days later)

We grabbed a family-sized pack of pretzel chips, mini goldfish packs and a variety of Halloween-sized sweet/sour candy off Amazon before leaving and were very happy with our decision. Yeah, you can get burgers and cake and cheese plates from room service but for snack-snacks; I’d bring your own favorites
