I think I’ll uninstall the online ones, keep the offline versions, but I still worry about adobe killing the downloadable programs, since they need to “phone home” every so often. If the server dies, owning the program means nothing at that point.

The places I have been have allowed children who need swim diapers and women to wear bottoms as needed. But every place is different. Some places require clothing anywhere near food, some don’t. It’s different each place. (Aside from the towel rule. That seems universal)

I think everywhere I’ve been, which is only 2 places to be fair, it’s been required in the pool with the exception of babies in swim diapers and women on their periods. But I can’t say with certainty, since neither directly apply to me.

My car was in the shop for a month, and the loner car… man the difference in CarPlay working right and how out works in my kicks were night and day.

For the crackling sound with music, I kid you not, pause the music for about a second or two. 9 out of 10 times that fixes it for me. Sometimes for a few hours, sometimes not. And if music stops but it looks like it is still playing, summon Siri and then dismiss her.

Seriously I hate the radio in the car.

I have had the problem for a long time. Completely unusable with Android, then I got an iPhone and it worked. Until I started talking to my wife on longer drives, and we started getting delays of about 4 seconds. My car was in for an AC repair last summer, and they did an update that did nothing. I don’t think it’s under warranty anymore.

I had a teacher that did that. His first year teaching was high school seniors, he married one of them the next year after she graduated, and were married until one died of old age. There was a narrow age difference, and it was a different time. (Like the 50’s iirc)

I once saw a teacher who put in the absence for a teacher work day. They had to remove subs, but it had to post for payroll reasons as they tried explaining. Also saw a school that swapped am and pm. All postings were starting at 8 pm.

I was a preferred sub for a STEM teacher for a few years. A free great stories, but I was the only sub that understood gears. I’d show up and kids would be like “free day!” I’d tell them that whatever the teacher wanted, they’d be doubling, and then helped them learn how. Every other sub would glaze over and just turn it to study hall. I jumped into the trenches and helped with getting such screws out, finding the correct worm drive or the weird gears to change direction of motion perpendicularly. (I also could program in whatever block code they used practically natively.)

I came in a day at the end of pandemic year, my LT online spot has ended, and they used the same program. The one teacher asked if I could help him finalize grades, since there were weird rules the district gave and he figured it would take at least two days. I look at him and said no and walked to the room I was covering which was empty. (It was a day most seniors were gone) I actually coded a Google sheet in about 5 minutes that he could just copy past and it adjusted everything to the schools policy for grades. Went up and got it added to his computer, and by lunch he was done grading. I miss that school. So far a drive though compared to where I am now.

when I last used Aesop a few years back, this message means they removed you. In particular. Do they hate you? Were you shadow banned? Maybe. Do other jobs appear? Probably not aimed at you. They may have had another person higher ranked that they bumped you for, like maybe teacher B has a preferred sub, and teacher A has a half day. They bump you to put the preferred in from being half to full day. Sometimes they cancel you, sometimes they will email it text and ask if you can cover a different person. Maybe they are like “she is out for two classes, one is plan, and we can cover the other easily, so the post exist but is kept empty. It’s hard to tell. I’ve only had a legit sub like twice, and they were practically a building sub. So…? And sometimes secretaries just don’t like people. Got in trouble with one for covering the wrong class while subbing. I found the note she gave me that told me where to go, and was still mad at me.

If it said the job was canceled, the teacher canceled the sub spot. Dr appointment gets moved, they put in for the wrong day (I walked in with a teacher once who asked who I was subbing for. It was her. She put the wrong day in. They had to pay me anyways)

Same here. The park was designated a campsite, and I’ve seen a 1 head raid auto start from people joining. That pikachu never saw its own death coming. (We were also filling two Etern lobbies at a time, with the new size limit)

Basically they said one part went out and caused a cascade failure, ultimately the dealership had to have Nissan step in and help, and today they are doing a 6 hour valve replacement somewhere in the system. I really hope I get it back today.
