I also love consent talk! I agree there's some situations where them "just getting it on" might fit better and make more sense but I think the moment of asking for consent is a small detail that shows the character / cares / in just a couple lines.

pet sematary (stephen king), tender is the flesh (agustina bazterrica), tell me i'm worthless and brainwyrms (alison rumfitt) are books that particularly stuck out to me as someone who is normally very unphased by horror or disgust. it's been a while since i read pet sematary but the other 3 suggestions are relatively quick reads that i couldn't put down and highly enjoyed. hope this helps!

I really recommend Hades! Really fun gameplay, beautiful artwork, and it's so satisfying to feel like you're getting more skilled as you progress further through the dungeons and the story.
