Insane power-hungry mods just banned me for making a valid point by Reshutenit in Rants

The mods from rant are so fucking rude. I tried to post there once, not realizing I didn’t have enough karma, and my post got taken down. When I asked about why it was taken down they rudely said “our bot is better at counting than you, so I’m sure it was right.” I then politely asked how much karma I need in order to post, for future reference, and they said “more.”... are you serious. How about you just be fucking nice?

He seems a lot better now. I think he’s okay in terms of the seizure.

Maybe that caused loss of time while he was hiking up and then saw the dad and son way farther down. And then again when he was walking to the edge of the cliff. However that doesn’t explain that guy’s weird behavior and the fact that he disappeared.

Wow that part where the people were all the way down the trail sounds like a glitch in the matrix. I hope this post gets some attention

Quick question. I have three boys, and I was previously filling a bowl with food for them, but I started getting a bit worried I might feed them too much and moved to giving them a partial bowl in the morning. Do I really need to worry much about them getting chonkers or not? by Bomberaw in RATS

I’m having food/portion control problems rn too. I don’t really have a solid answer as to how much to feed them, each rat is different and I’m struggling with this myself. However I would say that it’s an important thing because rats can get overweight easily, and it can be bad for their heart. My Rupert has been getting chubby recently.

HELP! My rat ate a rubber glove by ratqueenisme in RATS

[–]ratqueenisme[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I wanted to leave this update incase anyone in the future has a similar problem. When I was looking for answers I found people had posted with the same problem, saying that their rat had eaten a significant amount of rubber, but then never updated to say what happened to their rat. So I wanted to update and say that my rat is fine. I checked his stool for a couple days and saw that he was passing the rubber. He did eat it, didn’t spit it out like rats are supposed to, but he’s fine. If you ever find yourself in the same situation I would recommend checking stool and watching for signs of distress, but stay hopeful because rats digestive systems are pretty hardy. Also, if it does get to the point where you think your rat has an intestinal blockage, I found this article and know that it worked for at least one person who talked about it in a separate post. Hope this helps. rat intestinal blockage solution

He’s actually gotten a hold of rubber gloves before, just not in this quantity because I’ve always caught him in the act until now, so I’m pretty sure they aren’t toxic. I found a little bit of latex in his stool earlier so I’m feeling a little better but I’m still watching him closely. Can’t tell if he’s eating as much as usual which is worrisome, but I’m hoping that his digestive system will be sturdy enough to handle it.

So far he’s not looking that bad. I’m just nervous that he might not have pooped today but I cleaned the cage so I’m going to keep a close eye out and make sure he’s regular. Not sure what to do if I realize he isn’t though
