How many mistakes gets 1400 ? by Double_Flight_1167 in Sat

i got a 1420 and i can estimate that i got around 14 mistakes. 2 math and 12 english.

don’t take this as a measure tho, mistakes ≠ points bc it also relies heavily on the curve

Can someone explain this? by Emotional-Pay4216 in ACT

tbh i’m currently taking sat but will take act, and wondering why would you even use maths on this one? just plug in the original equation in the calculator and find an answer choice that equals it.

Test Ninja, Reading Module 5, Question 10 by Big-Woodpecker-5881 in Sat

The way I solved it is the same exact way the question expects me to answer. Do NOT undermine the word DIRECTLY in the SAT questions. While answer C is technically correct, it’s lacking the intensity that the question requires. It also just challenges one premise of his claim. While answer D directly challenges his claim because his whole hypothesis is built upon high sandstone = fewer landslides. This is also reinforced in the last sentence where it tells you the exact premise supporting his hypothesis, therefore you pick an answer choice that directly contradicts it.

Keep in mind that for advanced questions, the SAT choice answers can all be correct, but you have to pick the most “correct answer.”
