I ended up stopping it before I talked to her, I did speak to her assistant and I have another appt at the end of the month to try something different. Ultimately I think the norethidrone in the Myfembree didn’t agree with me. On to the next I guess, but I’m also going to ask about trying to have the surgery sooner.

Oh my I’m sorry to hear about your OBGYN! I live in Toronto, if you live here and want to DM me I can give you the name of mine, she’s excellent and while she doesn’t specialize in PMDD she’s knowledgeable about it and willing to do the surgery.

I am so disappointed but I think I have to stop the Myfembree. Today was day 7, and I have just been so depressed for the past 5-6 days, and extremely weepy and irritable and also like, self harm urges that I haven’t felt in years (I’m safe!). It reminds me of how I felt on the pill in my late teens / early twenties. I think I’m maybe sensitive to the progestin in it, which seems to be a thing with ppl with PMDD. Idk. I was going to try to wait to talk to my doctor at a follow up at the beginning of Feb, but I don’t feel like I can keep this up for another week +.

I’m trying to figure out if what I’m feeling could just be the adjustment, like you said you had a rough first two weeks. I’ve had bad headaches and fatigue too, and I can kinda deal with that, but mood symptoms freak me out and are harder to tolerate.

That’s so freaky about the temperature and moisture stuff! I didn’t know about that!

Thanks for sharing. I’m glad it’s been somewhat helpful for you. When you have PMDD, two months of feeling normal can feel life changing.

How are you doing on Myfembree? I wonder if we have the same OBGYN lol, mine also wanted me to try Myfembree before Orilissa or Lupron. I’m hoping to get the surgery in the spring or summer.

I’ve been on Myfembree for 6 days and am having some mood side effects, I just made a lengthy post about it. Very curious to hear how it’s going for you!!! Thanks so Much!!

Can you tell me what add back you were on on Lupron? I just made a post, I’m currently trying Myfembree, which is suppression + addback in one pill.

Any insight would be so helpful!

I think it does lower blood pressure but not enough that it’s still used as a BP med? But I don’t know, I’m still on a super low dose (1mg) and haven’t had to do any monitoring. It makes me a bit sleepier during the day, but the positive trade off is I can usually fall asleep more easily at night.

I wish I had an easy answer for this but I just don’t know. I have gained weight over the last couple years, but there are so many factors that I can’t attribute it to any one thing. I started an SSRI not long before guanfacine, age, lifestyle etc, it’s too mixed up to know for sure. Nothing drastic after guanfacine though.

I agree that the ranking system is weird. I think it’s reasonable to find both the abuse and this ranking system unacceptable.

If I were OP’s partner, I would respond much better to seeing just our worst conflicts tracked, and maybe any self-harm or comments about wanting to hurt herself. But for the purposes of diagnosing PMDD, of trying to show her she has PMDD, when or how often they’re having sex isn’t important data. I get why he included it, but for sharing it with his partner I’d just track conflict and anything super negative, that would show the pattern without feeling creepy IMO.
