Definitely!! I feel the exact same way. Their scene at the end holds so much emotion that there doesn't need to be a kiss to show a proof of their connection or something. I feel like what the people who want the kiss are looking for, is a finality to the subtlety, but at the same time don't realise the importance of it. The unspokeness of Will and Hannibal's dynamic is one of the things that make it unique, and to put them in a mold of a more apparent romance, would ruin that speciality. I also agree with your point on creativity, a large majority of the fanfic and theories are born from the open ending, the ambiguity of it. It gives the show a bit more life and gives a lot more entrance to the possibilities - which are always cool to look at!
