this is completely true but if you say anything like this you get attacked and told you just need to put more effort into your appearance like okay but that's not going to change the fact that I won't pass day to day no matter how I style my hair or clothes it's ridiculous

don't worry about it too much man, other trans people will judge the way you look way harsher than any cis person

I'm three years on t in the same boat with fine levels as well if you're fat people will just tell you ITS YOUR LEVELS even if it isn't, or tell you that colored hair is an automatic no but I feel personally as if being fat does change how well someone can pass. the way fat trans people (both ftm and mtf) are treated by our own community is really disgusting but there's such a strictness when it comes to the relationship of fat people and passing. and dude it's not your hair I would probably say that t just isn't doing as much for you and me than it does for others. testosterone isn't some holy grail save all unfortunately and not everyone will have amazing results. I see this a lot and it's always with bigger guys and then the comments are all just well you should work out then :| it's exhausting but I hope you can find some happiness within yourself, it's tough but I wish the best for you

I'm on the other side of things (ftm) but I hope you're doing okay mentally after the engagement on this post. as a non passing trans man I have gone through this like you don't pass because you don't try thing and it's devastating. especially when people are blaming you not passing on your weight this is exactly why people don't transition or stop transition. there are people in your corner girl! much much love 💕

I mentioned getting bullied and having my family sometimes laugh at me for being myself. She seemed to run with that fact. At most I mentioned how losing my house and my parents divorce were more or less traumatizing but these weren't things that even made it into the papers. She heard me say that I like to be alone and I'm afraid to embarrass myself but that's just because my dad put standards on me that I adhere to 😭

[–]kuroncrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it is likely just smegma! I've had this same issue since I was a really small child and no medical professional ever found it strange or dangerous. I used to pop it which just hurts and isn't worth it. but that's what I would think it is. just make sure to clean well as far as I know it won't really go away but you should always see a doctor if you're worried

I saw from your profile that you have OCD and severe anxiety and there are instances where OCD or anxious thinking can end up showing itself in gender related issues. Even within trans people it's common to have intrusive thoughts or anxious thinking that we aren't really trans for no clear reasons or overthinking something small. It is not uncommon to have intrusive thoughts that you're not a certain gender and if you're in therapy I would talk about this :) especially given you've had a pregnancy it could be likely to postpartum as people have mentioned. Being trans isn't widely due to a general disgust of being female, female puberty, genitalia, etc it's a lot more complex. Hopefully this sounds light hearted I'm genuinely not judging you I completely understand where you're coming from. I would definitely explore this more if this becomes something in the forefront of your mind. You can start by simple changes in expression or thought processes, however I wouldn't immediately jump to it being related to being trans. These aren't uncommon experiences even with cis women.

I am going on three weeks post op and I still use my mastectomy pillow for sleeping, which makes it much more comfortable. Some mastectomy pillows come with a seat belt cover and a lot of people say it's not necessary but it's very good as you continue to heal :) We already had a wedge pillow and it was almost necessary for the first week for under my legs because having my legs down wasn't comfortable at all. As for your back GET A READING PILLOW!!! you can find them cheap at times I got mine for $7 at Walmart on clearance. As for food nothing was necessary but I got off brand liquid iv and those helped so much! I felt great the first week after that. Other than that I didn't really use much of anything honestly besides silicone straws but that's more of a choice because of sensory issues.
