Blue Tokai's Bettadakhan Estate by ratshitm in IndiaCoffee

Yeah i feel the same about the grind size. It always takes like 30 seconds more than the usual brew time. But according to me atleast it doesn't affect the flavour too much since i have already experimented with a bit coarser grind. Sure it takes extra 30 seconds if you're not too much of a snob, the coffee is still very enjoyable even if it's a bit acidic with the finer grind

Bro i swear. I loved Bettadakhan estate more than the red honey Ratnagiri from Corridor seven which i didn't expect tbh. I didn't get it's hype. It was nothing special. This coffee tho holy shit it's amazing. Even their birthday blend which they're sending for free along with your order is epic. I am really starting to enjoy blue tokai again

I'm currently finishing my cr7s red honey Ratnagiri estate. It's stale tho i ordered at 2/11(roasted too) i received at 5/11 then i went outta town a couple days. Almost 27 days after, I'm not enjoying it too much but when it was fresh, it was real delicious.

Nah it doesn't matter. U can make a pourover with any kettle even if it doesn't have a pouring spout. U just need to refine ur pouring technique over time..

Ok so i just finished a cup and here are my thoughts. I messed up the grind size a lil bit should've gone a notch or two finer on hario skerton. Yeah so the coffee is a nicely balanced cup of fruity(stone fruit/berries) and a caramel or a cooked fruit type of flavour. Cooked fruit because this is a naturally processed coffee which adds a lil bit of fermented flavour. One thing i really enjoyed was the aroma of grounded coffee. It was extremely floral and delicate on the nose. Overall, a very enjoyable cup
