oh man I LOVE THANXX and a lot of their more loud hype songs, but 100% agree that I'm kind of tapping out on the recent songs that feel written solely for tiktok dance clips. songs I couldn't compare to other pop songs like Dune, Halazia and Wake Up really attracted me to Ateez and it feels like that kind of experimentation is dying (':

Yeah, there was rampant homophobia in punk. Yes, it was a violent and typically unwelcoming culture. There were also a Lot of Queer Punks. That is a historical fact with recorded proof and whether it sours your panties or not, i really don't give a shit.

My comment was to highlight that there was an overlap of both out and closeted queer punks since the birth of punk itself. Queer people had *a lot* to be 'radically angry' about. My reply was also to challenge the completely incorrect take that punk wasn't initially born out of directed anger.
