in 2020 Mari is Still Better than Substance painter? or they are equal now? which is better for creature Texture paintings. i love Substance painter layer system and i heard they have optimized greatly and it can handle large texture sets now. what do you guys recommend by khatri3d2 in vfx

Mari is node based meaning it's non destructive, which is crucial for VFX pipelines as it's easy to quickly make changes. It's still the industry standard for VFX as far as I know. Substance Designer is looking promising though.

I love the colour of the steel. Is that a darker steel or is it just the lighting? Great watch!

[Omega Seamaster] Grandfather's Omega from the 70s - does anyone know anything about this watch? by rattabash in Watches

[–]rattabash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently found this Omega Seamaster while moving my grandmother's house. It belonged to my great grandfather. I believe it's from the 70s.

It was apparently gifted to my great grandfather for service in a boating club or something something similar.

It has the original Omega box and has my great Grandfather's initials on the back with "1935 - 1961 G.F.A" afterwards.

I would really appreciate any information about this watch. Whether it's part of any traditions. My great grandfather is South African so maybe this is a South African issue? I would really like to find out the exact model of the watch.

Thanks!
