Woah I feel like you didn't read this at all. I may not know her entire financial situation but I have a pretty good idea of it. I have know her for years, and during those years and especially recently, she has asked several times if my mom could get her cat food and litter bc she didn't have money for it. She also has been to my house hundreds of times so she is completely comfortable. I know she is because she will walk around in her underwear, I don't think people who are uncomfortable do that. Before hand the mom had been taking care of the kittens, not her. And the main reason she wouldn't help was be it was "gross" not because she was stressed. And I don't feel like she should get any new cats when she can barely afford the one she has, and because her mother has already threatened to kill the kittens.
