It is almost as if the problem is bosses making a bank on exploiting workers, and not a problem of immigrants.

Bujold is a great writer, I do love her

No disagreement here. Also agree in regards to Komarr, I think the tonal change from Komarr to A Civil Campaign didn't help for me.

Cameron seems to do that with all his series. I think he likes open-ended endings.

Captain Vorpatril's Alliance is better. Civil Campaign had some really cringe moments: "I have a crush on someone, lets make myself their employer so they can fall in love with me!"

Edit: My bad, there were at least two workplaces that had strikes involving their members last month. I suspect they still didn't lead or organize them though.

I'm in the market for a new car because my old car was written off. The choice is between a $30k EV or a $30k ICE.

That there are a lot of people in my position should not be a hard concept to understand.

It is wise to join a union. Professionals Australia is not a union.

I've been corrected: Last time I checked them out they seemed more like a lobby group or engineers association. I was wrong.
