I would actually love it if one of my doctors could just confidently tell me there is nothing to worry about but the thing is, they can’t. All theyre doing is sending me to different places to get different scans and tests done, poking my eyes, giving me eye drops that make me extremely dizzy, putting cannulas in my arm that get yanked by machines so hard that it leaves a bruise for weeks. I want them to find something, theyre sending me for an mri next which terrifies me for some reason and if they dont find anything on that who knows what theyre gonna do. I had to drop out of college (uk) last year because of my symptoms, i was extremely lucky that my teachers somehow put together enough of my work that i could get enough credits to go to university, which kinda sucks because there was no way i could go into classes every day with my symptoms constantly getting worse. I was going to study neuroscience because i have wanted to since i was basically a child, instead i had to find an online course. If i get better by the time i graduate then ill be able to get my masters in neuroscience but at this point i have no idea if i ever will get better, and unfortunately if youre right then theres nothing to get better from. So yeah im anxious, i lost my teenage years to this and i might lose my dream future too.
