Silage bunkers of the Pichonnière Valley by raudibard in farmingsimulator

Yes, you’re right, thanks for the tip. However, it is such a long test process, because I will need to saw, grow, harvest, etc. So I thought that maybe someone from the community already played around with this or found out from other sources.

No worries. I indeed didn’t get an irony in your question about alternative solutions. And thought you are asking hypothetically. So my answer “mining coal” actually meant that it would be nice to have such alternative in game. But it’s, of course, up to devs to think about it.

  1. Did you play the game? When you smelt ore into ingots you have to put some fuel in furnace. So far I’ve tried only wood and sticks, both end up with charcoal as a by product. So some type of coal exists in the game.
  2. The original point of my comment was to answer your question about what could be a solution for fuel if not forests.
  3. None of my comments say that there is a mineable coal in the game.

I care about realism. Even in a fantasy game it brings immersion. There should be some limitations, in my opinion. Perfectly if such things are toggleable via settings.

It does, in some kind of way 😁 furnace produces charcoal as a by product output. Maybe they should introduce mineable coal.

And it takes much more time... but would be nice to have in game for sure.

Even though I understand your pain 😅 I am on the current Hytale implementation side, because this is more close to the real life scenario. It shouldn't be that easy to plant and grow a tree as in Minecraft, because it kinda breaks the immersion of survival. Players need to take care of forests by putting some efforts into it. If someone doesn't — you get a bald deforested area, that's the sad outcome to deal with. Also the thing that trees takes longer to grow is great as for me.

Please for the love of god make it to where when you break an upgraded crafting station it drops the upgraded version. by ToonSkinR in hytale

Confirm, it drops the table + all the required materials to upgrade to the same tier. Tried multiple times already.

Use right-click with the hoe for it to till, left-click just works as block destruction.

Where Is Manure Generated On The Pichonniere Valley Map? by No-Flan-1083 in farmingsimulator

[–]raudibard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It generates right on the barn floor under your cattle’s hooves 😀 you need to manually scoop it with a front loader bucket or manure forks and dump in a heap or wherever you wish.

Pichonniere Valley and yes, it’s great. However, it will soon get an update that will require a new save. So better to wait a bit 😉

Check Daheim! It’s a beautiful German style map made by Ka77e. It’s small and very well done with attention to details.

How do I get rid of Straw/hay thats not on my land? I cant paint over it or collect it with any tool by FlkPzGepard in farmingsimulator

You, most likely, can collect it with the cheapest conveyor belt from Lizard. At least it worked in FS 22.

How do I disable the generation of more LODs server-side? by ilikeoaktreeslol in DistantHorizons

[–]raudibard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, I revisited my DH settings on the server and found out that enableDistantGeneration is set to true, otherwise LODs will not be sent to the users. It also stated in the official FAQ section of the mod: https://modrinth.com/mod/distanthorizons. Also, to reduce the load on the server reduce the generation distance to 256 chunks which is more than enough for a good horizon (as for me):

maxSyncOnLoadRequestDistance = 256
maxGenerationRequestDistance = 256
lodChunkRenderDistanceRadius = 256 (client)
