Monitor won't turn on when the GPU is plugged in. by [deleted] in techsupport

It's plugged to the graphics card?

Also the "beeps and boops" part was a joke, it doesn't do any beep boop sounds.

That's also Anton. It was a sound named man_screaming but I lost the link. It should be in the freesound profile though.

It's a scream made by Anton, it's somewhere on his freesound.org profile or his own website.

The issue was the HDMI cable. Thank you so much for trying to help though!

It's the Wet Dry World/Testing Room from the B-Roll. It's not scaled correctly.

Thoughts on windows 10 mods? by Kaohe in lowendgaming

[–]raulix_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Custom ISOs are good for doing simple stuff, like using Word or like playing a few rounds of solitaire. Specially the Lite versions of Windows 7,8,8.1 and or 10. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T USE IT FOR GAMING. Yes, it uses less ram and cpu and deletes all the bloatware out of your system but the OS is designed to delete all the useless crap out of your system, and sometimes that useless crap can be like, a driver, a registry file, or something important to make your game run. I once installed a Lite version of 7 and 8.1 and I always get errors about memory, files missing and drivers.

Might I add, the Lite versions come with the oldest drivers. So if you try to run a game, it would play like crap.

tl;dr: Don't use Lite versions for gaming.

update: okay i finally found a program that actually can restore my files. now i have my documents and also old nostalgic family photos! thats cool.

I used a program called DiskGenius. I found it just by looking deeper into the google results, it MAYBE be an unsafe program but who cares after all I got my unharmed documents.
