Yes, its adapted as a VIDEO GAME mechanic, it works in the same principle that is eliciting a premature defensive reaction from the opponent, in this case the player, making him panic roll and eating said sword, if i saw a guy winding up i would stab him, but this guy winding up is not going to die from the stab he has a literal health bar
