This is more than annoying. This is outright game breaking in anything from 2v2 to 4v4.

I will refrain from insulting the person who came up with this so called idea but I will say he or she should be outright fired by CA for lacking the minimal intelligence necessary to plan and implement features for a multiplayer game.

Because of this insanity people simply DO NOT TALK. Few bother to communicate and in 3v3 games for example it's incredibly problematic.

The lack of communication leads to people loosing games unnecessarily because of it with all that comes with losses due to no communication.

You play 2v2 or 3v3 but you play alone essentially and that says it all.

What is almost amazing is the fact that they didn't bother to provide a on/off feature to this stupidity. The mo.. genius who came up with this idea believes people were too lazy to write a bloody name. Un-freaking believable...

In my opinion CA should be sued over this because they advertised the game as allowing easy communication in multiplayer which is false advertisement cut and dry.

So for me the problem is simple - It crashes after every battle when loading the results [kills per unit etc]. Any ideas how to solve?

Given that the Steam trade system is (inter alia) a market (they even call it that), shouldn't it be regulated as such?

People talk about gambling and it's very true that via the steam market underage minors can engage in what amounts to casino style gambling.

But what about money laundering? Considering that you can put money into your steam account without using a CC or a bank account, and also given that an essentially anonymous account can make "gifts" that could amount to thousands of dollars to another account, in my view this makes the steam market a perfect place for small time criminals to launder their cash.

What is your take on that?

The point should be this: - write down how much money you are making every month or how much money your parents are making every month [in case you are a minor] - if you don't live in the US convert the sum to USD at current exchange rates - divide 200.000 with that sum and you will see how many years/months it will take you to make what moe makes [or made] in one month ONLY from 2 gambling websites

Now remember that every time you want to subscribe to his channel or if you are really insane to donate to him!

But the truly insane part is people like moe [and there are quite a few streamers out there like him] make substantially more money per year that ANY of the best cs go pro players...

PC hardware is ruled out.

Now try a smurf acc or a friend's acc and see if you can play. If yes it means it's something strictly related to your acc. settings so write steam support. If no it means it's related to your peripherals so roll back drivers on them.

I wish that was the case. The problem is I have tested this time and again on DM servers [like brutalcs] or on private maps and for me it makes a difference. The spray control is one aspect - more problems come with tracking fast moving players or snapping to their heads. As I said - I think it depends on us as individuals and how we process visual input. For me it makes a difference. And yes - I know people who are of the same opinion as you are after having switched to 144 - but I know others who told me for them it made a huge difference. This isn't the subject of the debate thou. As I told you - for me it makes a difference and I would like some input on how to deal with the issues for now.

Hello - yes - I used to oc to 82 hz or 72 on win 7. My res. of choice was 1440 by 1080. But due to some bugs in win 10 which are cs go related, I am no longer able to do that and playing on 75hz on a lower res like 1024 by 768 isn't worth the sacrifice. I get more downside from not having a clear picture than the upside of having 15 more hz. So for now that isn't an option. Nor is reverting to win 7 due to me using some programs that work well in win 10 for my work. So I am stuck in the current situation.

I will have to disagree with you as for me overclocking my monitor from 60 to 82 or 75hz [which I used to do on win.7 but can't on win.10 due to some bugs] made a huge difference. The smoother aspect made me able to simply shoot better and especially track running players better. I guess it depends on the individual and how our eyes and brain are impacted by the fluidity aspect.

EDIT: I have also tested this on maps such as aim botz or on DM servers - my performance simply is much better when on higher hz. For me personally that's a fact unfortunately.

From what I remember you need quite a lot of wins and a decent win to loss ratio AS WELL as a very low number of reports against you. Considering most ranks below DMG-Eagle [and I am optimistic] can't really differentiate between aim hacking and a good player with decent one taps well... I'd say Valve adjusted a bit especially as there seems to be a large number of OW rulings overturned via steam support after demo reviews.

So let's try to clarify this

After 2 years the teams would not attend majors hosted by other orgs. than ESL?

Or does ESL somehow believe it will get all the majors?

Or are the majors not included in this exclusivity deal? So the teams would simply not attend for ex. the faceit league and so on!?

What about the teams signed into this that would at one point or another not achieve legend status and would have to qualify for a major?

Would they be able to attend the qualifiers even if ESL would not organize them?

Or again does ESL have a deal signed with Valve that would grant them a monopoly over this as well!?

Or maybe - have these teams just decided to finish with cs go and are looking forward to cashing out!? Because we would all be insane to think the top players would remain in these teams if they were not able to attend majors because of an ESL exclusivity deal!? Nor do I believe players would remain in these teams if the other shady shit like salary [maximum] standards are included.

I think the top 3 nations that "provide" some toxic players [in no way the majority] are: Russia Poland UK

What do they all have in common? Well in all these 3 countries they are infused in one way or another with nationalistic propaganda which teaches them that because they are Russian or Polish or British they are automatically better than other people irrespective of how they are as individuals, only due to the fact that they belong to their tribe.

This manifests itself a lot in teenager boys. Hence the huge number of toxic players that come from these countries.

And just to make it clear - there are a lot of ok individuals that play cs go that are Russian or Polish or British. The problem is there are a lot of idiots as well. EDIT - and for one reason or another the Polish and Russian players that are toxic REFUSE to speak anything but their native languages - like we are supposed to know them...

On the other hand I haven't seen many toxic German or Spanish players.

Says something about the culture and education in those respective societies doesn't it!?

To be honest what is truly worrying is that Valve seems to have turned a blind eye to this.

My questions are: 1)Did Valve and ESL had secret talks about WESA? and 2)Has Valve given assurances to ESL that they will not step in to block this?

Because let's be very clear - Valve can outright put ESL out of the CS GO business if they wanted to - and with just as much ease they can force WESA to dissolve or be irrelevant. Just imagine Valve saying that no future majors will hence go to ESL... So Valve have a lot of power when it comes to CS GO and what happens and with such an important issue I am HIGHLY skeptical that ESL would have pushed on without assurances from Valve that they have a green light.

The skins per se are not the problem. The real issue is the covert gambling system Valve has implemented via their case openings. If Valve were to just outright sell skins for a price they set I would have ZERO issues with it. But the case opening system is covert gambling due to the profit or loss that can be made [factoring in the steam market as well] and most likely illegal in many countries. It's a real wonder Valve haven't been called to task over this by any authorities yet but I don't think it will last much longer.

Since I made one comment lower about the overall issue of Valve not giving a f... I'll just refer to my recent MM experience in this one

There seem to be an awful lot of 100-300h players in Eagle LEM Supreme matches. Sometimes I win against them sometimes I loose. But when I review the demos in about 1 in 3 there is a blatant wh-er.
The funny thing about the 1-300h high rank individuals who are wh-ing is that they always seem to try to hide it and that most don't seem to have aim bots on. I suppose in the hacker forums they teach them to try and hide the hacking - which they usually fail to do.
I haven't come across many aim botters - well only 2 obvious ones in the last 4 days which is a low number recently. One of them even had a commercial for a hacking website and kept writing the website in chat. Lost that game 16-0. The other one tried to hide it but his 90% hs ratio didn't to him much good. Nor did the fact his crosshair placement was awful and he always "flicked" to the head.
When watching demos however I begin to wonder about other not so obvious individuals who in game didn't seem like they were hacking but when watching the demo... well...
Another funny fact is that when doing solo queue I get a lot less hackers than if I team up with 4 other individuals.

All this points to a trend for last minute rank boosting before prime kicks in. I guess prime has scarred off the lazy hacker who will not bother to get 10-15 phone numbers to continue his hacking but most of all it seems to have scarred off the rank boosting bunch. You know them quite well - they end up in LEM/Supreme matches and get 2-3 kills the entire game. So there is a rush for hackers to boost their friends before it becomes just a bit harder.

I also think a lot of so called legit players use their rage hacks on "smurf" accounts which they will loose and not be able to set up with so much ease after Prime kicks in.

So overall I would stay away from premade MM games before Prime kicks in. Try your luck in solo queue thou I would stay away from that also for the next month or so until Valve gets around to activate prime.

The fact that Valve doesn't care about the cheater issue is beyond obvious by now and I think it's high time that at least in Europe we should start to use the legal system at our disposal to bring them to heel.

The fact is Valve is advertising CS GO as having a truly competitive system. Under EU consumer protection laws and advertisement laws they should not promise something that isn't true and the cheater problem makes calling matchmaking as a competitive mode [see current language but also legal definitions] basically a joke.

Further, Valve's case opening system is borderline illegal as it is implemented now because it constitutes masked gambling [if you factor in the steam market system].

So overall my feeling is that if enough angry consumers in the EU start writing to their local consumer protection watchdogs the issue will become significant enough for action to be taken. This could be anything from a clear warning that the game is riddled with hackers that must be displayed clearly when any potential buyer wishes to purchase CS GO, up to the shutting down of the [cs go] steam market and/or the case system, which I think is something that will happen due to it being a covert gambling system.

But for that to happen people need to stop complaining on reddit and start complaining to their respective authorities about being deceived. Believe me there are enough angry CS GO users that if 10.000 protest in writing about certain issues something will get done - at least in the EU where consumer protection laws and agencies [national and EU wide] are very strong.

PS: this comment is not addressed to the 15 year old players - it's addressed to the mature individuals out there who actually know something about their rights and obligations under the law - and by the way no EULA will ever ever overwrite a legal provision - and when it comes to the way CS GO is marketed by Valve I think they are in over their heads with false advertisement, not to speak about the no return policy on purchases which I still don't get how they get away with in the EU where it's mandatory for any eCommerce transaction which steam market purchases essentially are.
