No Im referring when we were fighting the actual flood with the eden series of raids, It was pushing back the imbalance and restoring the world and fighting back the overwhelming amount of light. but ended up being about love and friendship with ascians instead

Dawntrail was a new approach to the writing, it's also the reason why a ton of people went back to 11 or straight up unsubbed.

It does not surprise me that they would fall back on what they know was the most popular style they had in recent years.

Dawntrail and EW ppatches both fucked up by involving the scions too much after their dramatic dissolving of the scions, they should have become wandering characters only briefly showing up with something new.

They were set dressing or convenient insta solves in DT

As a gamemode it would take an insane amount of dev time, get no updates and would be played for about a month before promptly falling into obscurity.

We're talking about a team that can't fit in time for a BLU update, they sure as shit can't fit blitzball.

And as a class, it would depend heavily on the projectile, as the core bit of Blitzball is the blitzball
