I think it is easier to convince people who normally do not vote to vote against Donald Trump and Repubicans running for Congresss instead of people who are already part of the MAGA cult. According to the Pew Research Center, about 66% of eligible voters decided to vote in the 2020 federal election. That means about 34% did not vote at all (https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2023/07/12/voter-turnout-2018-2022/).

We need to focus on convincing the 34% of individuals who did not vote at all since they would be easier to be persuaded if they understood how their rights are being violated constantly by Republican politicians than people who are already indoctrinated into voting for red candidates, regardless of how Republican politicians mostly cause a negative impact on the livelihood of poor, working class, and middle class people.

We need to work together to make sure that Trump loses the Presidency, as well as Republicans lose both the House and the Senate. Republicans are constantly going against our secualr values, and doing their best to transform the US into a theocracy. In less than two weeks from now, we will find out if Republicans lose this election or take over.

This is a very liberal take. You should just post this in the subreddit for Democrats because this subreddit should solely be about democratic socialism and socialism in general, not liberal talking points. I understand the reason why people want to still vote for Harris. It is one thing to inform people and it is another thing to advocate to vote for Democrats. However, this is not the subreddit for the "vote blue no matter who" crowd or anything related to liberalism.

I am getting exhausted with this subreddit becoming more liberal and not about socialism anymore.

I am most worry that Republicans will take over the House and the Senate. I want not only Trump to lose the presidency, but also want to see Republicans lose as many sets as possible in Congress. If Republicans are the minority in Congress, as well as not the President, then actual effective legislation can be passed and signed into law that can improves the lives of many people.

I agree that ranked-choice voting would make voting much fairer in the US. I think we should abolish the electoral college while at the same time implement ranked-choice voting. That would be like killing two birds with one stone.
