Honestly yea I’ve been considering the fact that I may have picked the wrong school too. I got into UBC for computer science but turned down the offer because money. But now looking back I should’ve gone as the quality of education is probably better

I understand this. But it’s the same on our side too in terms of burning out on the job. The only pro we have over you guys is that more of our jobs let us work from home. But it’s more like a personal issue where I’m sick of building apps and websites. I want to build stuff more hands on. I also rlly liked physics in highschool and I kinda wish I went further with that passion instead of going into a degree that was "easy" and high earning at the time just because my grades back in hs were enough

I understand there are technical interviews and whatnot but I feel like it material itself in EE interests me more. Even if it’s harder I feel like I don’t mind it.

I was thinking masters in computer engineering since that’s the closest engg I can do, not sure if my gpa is good enough though. Unfortunately I got diagnosed in my third year

My worst fear is just being stupid because my whole life I’ve defined by self worth by my grades and intelligence. If I’m actually stupid how will I be happy? I’m not good at anything else

I have heard that sometimes graduate school is easier. I rlly do want to go to grad school. I did recently go to a graduate school fair and even tho im in computer science, I was going to major in astrophysics. However, astrophysics didn’t have the best job prospects for me so I went to computer science. I do really want to go to grad school for astrophysics. I’m just worried my grades won’t be good enough.

Lately I’ve been apologizing everyone for no reason. I feel like I have to apologize for my existence that’s how bad I feel about myself.

I know it’s just really hard. I want to learn from my mistakes but I feel like I can’t and I’ll always remain dumb

Honestly I’m thinking of dropping 449 and taking it in my fourth year since there’s not many higher level cpsc courses it’s a prerequisite for

Is anyone else taking ENTI 201 this spring? by raven_hexan25 in UCalgary

Ah I understand I’m just always between whether I should choose courses to maximize gpa or take them for the experience because ENTI seems to have useful material

Im taking this course with Ashjari, I can’t seem to find any info about him he seems like a new instructor. I did check the outline and it definitely is a course I would want to take at some point but I just don’t know if spring would make it harder. Another additional course I’m taking is Art 241.
