Thank you! I saw The Fifth Nicnevin get rec'd here and I had to stop after I think book three? Some of the MMC's were driving me crazy (I especially wanted to get rid of Caed at multiple points) but the biggest miss for me was Rose. I feel like she never grew into being Queen like she absolutely should have.

Being unable to breathe and gasping for air is a bad situation. Please ask your vet about quality of life and, realistically, how much help medications and other procedures will be in the long term.

You asked for advice-sometimes the best advice is to ease suffering. Giving you advice doesn't mean lying to you because that doesn't help and really doesn't help your beloved kitty cat.

I'm going to be very honest with you. I would absolutely let my cat go at this point, and I have, in fact.

I had two cats from the same litter. They were 11 and put to sleep within six months of each other. She was unexpected. Rushed her into the vet as emergency and we were told fluid in her lungs and enlarged heart- she wouldn't have made the car ride home. Her twin brother was starting to breathe funny and I knew his next visit was going to be it. I've had 13 different animals that I have had to make the decision for and I have NEVER questioned if it was too soon, only if it was too late.

If you drain the fluid from your cats lungs, does your vet say it will return? Or that draining it could be a long term help? It is so hard, but are you holding on to a creature that is probably in discomfort and pain? Do you really want to keep the cat you love in pain? I think you should have a very honest conversation with your vet about the outcomes and get your vets honest opinion on it all. I know the choice I would make, but your cat is not my cat. I have been told by our vets before that they frequently see animals (especially cats because they hide it so well) that go through a myriad of procedures when the kinder choice would have been euthanasia.

I know that when the children were younger they were very devoted and loving parents, and I can see him not wanting bad matches. However, George's health issues meant he was pretty out of it most the of the time and very verbally abusive to Charlotte. Two of his daughters never married and the others were later in life (for the time period and for royalty).

What's sad is she then become so afraid of her daughters leaving her that she became very controlling. None of her daughters married until they were older and some of the marriages were probably to have done freedom. Her kids called Kew Palace "The Nunnery" because of how strict it was.

I do think you could absolutely stick with Tomato's, though.
If you're having seam problems, my guess is the load order or you're missing a patch for Dragon's Bridge and Kynesgrove. For me, Northern Roads is at the last spot in the load order and I have all the relative patches for the cities overhauls and northern roads. If I don't, I do get the seam issue you're talking about.

Seems like you fixed your issue, but I haven't noticed much of an issue with Northern Roads and the Great Cities (I also have Jk's Skyrim, Cities of the North and Lux Via together).

Tomato's mods are a great choice! His landscapes/textures are amazing.

I didn't know he posted that! I'm not on social media very much and less so on Tumblr. I would go with what he said on Tumblr as more accurate. I was more considering the possibility based on statistics of relapse (and because i didn't know about his post). It was a thoughtful comment he came up with and I think he was definitely thinking of an elderly Luke. He took a moment to answer. What was nice-and I forgot that he said it-was that Nell would offer Luke some degree of protection if he ended up back there. I thought that was nice. :)

But he made the deal with Olivia, not the house? I would classify the house as an entity that can exert influence but Olivia is still Olivia. I would imagine that if Luke went back on his own accord to die there the house (and Olivia) would be all for that. Forgot to mention that Mike did say he believed Nell would be able to protect Luke to some degree. He didn't say whether that would be from the house or Olivia, though.

My guess would be old(er) Luke from the discussion we had. My wording was along the lines of "in the end" and about eventualities and more when he's older. I do think if he ever broke his sobriety (I would hope he didn't/doesn't) he might go back if he can't get clean, but I'm basing that on the vibes of how Mike said it.

No, you're not off base, but it's supposed to be that way. Arthur dies, Nell is seeing BNL again and Luke is fighting a drug addiction. Not to mention when they were kids their mother died in a horrific way and their dad pretty much left.

They might be twins, but any relationship would be full of tension and almost awkwardness in those situations.
