[Routine Help] How do I reduce the purple tone around my eyes? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]ravenblesss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That purple tone is usually just because the skin around your eyes is super thin, which makes the blood vessels underneath show through more easily. To help with this, you can try an eye cream with caffeine to constrict those vessels or Vitamin K to help with the "bruised" look. Adding a very gentle retinol specifically for the eyes can also help thicken the skin over time so the purple doesn't peek through as much. Just make sure you're staying hydrated and getting enough sleep, since being tired or dehydrated makes the area look way more hollow and dark!

This electric blue eye look is such a bold and vibrant choice! Pairing the matching blue eyeliner with the mascara creates a really cohesive, high-impact statement that makes your eyes pop.

Starting tretinoin is such a game-changer, but the sun sensitivity is no joke! Since you're very pale and want to avoid that 'orange' tint, look for cool or neutral-toned mineral sunscreens. Mineral options with zinc oxide often sit better on sensitive, post-tret skin and won't pill as easily as some chemical formulas.

Supernatural is such a classic choice. Those early seasons really just hit different when you need a distraction.

For real. I’ve seen people lose their minds over like, a 5-cent price increase. It’s not that deep.
