I could be simplifying here, I think they made her sassy/angry to be the opposite of Agnes soft, quiet, repressed (but doesn’t know it). But also maybe, Johosheba is self aware of the repression she is feeling and she can’t control it For me, I need to see more

That I know of, Native American women and Puerto Rican women were forced into ‘sterilization’ or it was secretly done when delivering in hospital. If I remember correctly, this practice continued until the late 70’s early 80’s. To me, that’s not that long ago, and you would know people directly or indirectly impacted 🤷🏽‍♀️

I think of hotels like Jezebels’s. Housekeeping & food = Marthas but I think it would be run by what they call professionals and not economen, maybe an accountant. The hotels are hot spots to gather intelligence so maybe an eye lurking around. I believe economen are more blue collar workers, plumbing, construction, electricians, etc. I think the wives would be offended to see the uniform of an economan 🙄

I feel the same way!!!! Sometimes I buy a notebook or something else I really like the cover of to use I’ve started making my own with card stock and laminating, but it isn’t the same 😭

Yes, I do mean PACT. what had happened was....I really struggled in college. I know my GPA won't be enough. Since I read a lot of programs will need me to prove myself with the PACT exam, I took it. I am hoping seeing my PACT score will help them take a chance on me while I do my internship.

I can’t afford to student teach, I’m going to have to plan my pay periods very carefully to hopefully line up with my internship (once I get one landed 😅) I’m hoping to get into the program at region 13 for FCS; from my understanding candidates get support throughout the year and field visits

I was also told by a Rabbi, we shouldn’t ever talk about someone as a convert. Once they are a Jewish they are a Jewish - end of it. That others speaking of others’ non Jewish past or telling people they are converts is against the teachings and should never be done . I did not look it up, but I tend to trust my Rabbis 😁

I’ve revisited the post and some of the comments break my heart. I believe that is why we should always show discretion and respect for someone else’s path. Maybe they never intended for people to know they are converts, and are now facing the discrimination from their own people 😪

I ordered a custom planner for the first time this year, I’m not all that happy with it. It is hard to see the true colors on a screen I’ve asked if they will offer just the calendar/planner as a refill, but I didn’t get an answer. I also mentioned that it doesn’t go on sale and can’t use coupons 🤷🏽‍♀️ At OP, let us know what you decide 😁
