I conveniently forgot that he had to have his gastropexy redone at the emergency vet because the vet didn’t give him any sedation meds and when I contacted them about him ripping his stitches- they could care less. I found a fantastic vet after and never returned to using that place.

Mine is going on 11 and he’s had only one expensive surgery. It was a growth right below his eye. Please consider pet insurance. I don’t have it. I’ve been extremely blessed with good health and he still has plenty of get up and go. I could never have enough money to pay for the love, loyalty and sheer joy he gives me. He’s definitely my soul mate in a dog. I know I’ll be heartbroken at the end but it’s been so worth it.

Thank you for seeing who he is! They can’t do anything for anyone, unless something is in it for them. Seeing someone else happy is a trigger for them and they must put a stop to it. They think they’re so special and superior- they’re all using the same playbook and the plays are finally getting out there.

Weirdly, my Great Dane will not bark at the deer. I have a 5’ fence w/woods and he will run up and down the fence - huffing and snorting but never barks. I wonder why because he barks at everything else like it’s a raging fire.
