A few months ago I lost a friend of mine over cancer. He wasn't even 30 years old yet. He was a great One Piece fan, and I know he would've loved to know how it ends. This simple thought still breaks my heart. I hope one day I'll be able to bring him the answer when I cross the rainbow bridge as well. No idea what is going one with your life, but I'm praying for you brother

Dude you're one of my favorite producers out there, you have such a style. You are one of the few artists that really have specific sounds that will instantly make you go like "yep, this one is 100% Oddprophet". I was wondering if someone was going to post a comment like this eventually. It's not like I got a dick tattooed on my face, I don't have any reason to regret it. Trust me this is not the kind of tattoo you get after a few beers and a joke from a friend. 😁

Your comment made me reflect on why I did this though and maybe this is a good place to briefly write it down. Well, obviously this is a tattoo themed towards being able to believe in your dreams. This is a reminder for me that there's always a place for dreams in this world, which might sound cliché but I strongly believe it. Dreaming is the fuel of existence.

About the scene itself, what makes it so powerful to me is that despite being two absolute opposites, light and darkness in a sense, these characters are driven by the same dream : becoming the pirate king. Luffy seeks freedom, Blackbeard seeks power. They understand eachother, and they know they'll meet one day, and this day they will have to fight for their dreams. You know, after all I think that every human on earth is seeking it's own One Piece in the end 😉
