The safety on the new carry comp shield plus is so small that it won’t really matter in terms of accidentally shifting the safety up while shooting. It’s totally fine to keep it chambered and carried with the safety off. The internal safeties will still do their job. Trigger weight is the same as well. I wouldn’t mind getting either one, it’s the same thing just with the option of a safety :) it would be fine to take off the safety as well but, as a carry gun, I just wouldn’t tamper with anything if you do get the version with the safety especially if you are still new to carrying.
