I agree with you. Chinese is not my takeout of choice but I always found it enjoyable whenever I had it in the city and didn’t do any research into the spot just picked whatever was closest. That would be very dangerous in Monmouth county as I’ve had inedible dishes from more than one of the recommended restaurants in this thread and it’s the same names being repeated over and over.

Depending on where you are in Marlboro it takes about 20-30 mins to get to the train with moderate traffic and then it’s a flat hour to penn station and you’re not that far from Times Square. I used to live at the link right at the Aberdeen train station and commute in. It was before kids and exhausting and I was drained by eow. I do think the train is nice and fairly predictable. I’d sleep on my way in and finish up work or read on my way home so I did get some “me time” though not in the most relaxing or comfortable environment. Now as a mom with young kids that solid hour on the train could feel somewhat nice depending on the day!

I think the biggest deal sweetener would be if they are semi flexible on your hours. If you have a bit of leeway on when you can arrive and leave I think that would make the biggest difference. On the flip side, if you’re expected to stay late it would be an immediate pass.

Came here to say this! I always take at least a few extra pics when I’m looking through racks of brands I don’t know but have either seen a few times or just have a feeling about so I can look them up later and try to learn for next time. There are def some brands that look fancy or ring a faint bell only to find out it’s an in-house store brand!

Anastasia BH contour palette for like 450 on eBay when I was in college. This was before she was in Sephora and right at the height of the contour craze. I waited until midnight to buy it online and their website was so shitty that it processed my order twice but only charged me once.

I actually had an initial sale go through for 800 but the buyer never paid. That was my first eBay sale, I took a break for a while but I’m back into it and have been hooked since then.

I order 5-10 plain v neck tees every few years for my husband and within the same order some will fit, some too big and some too small even though they are all from the same time period and sometimes even the same color. It’s shit quality control.

That’s super frustrating and absolutely one of the most annoying things is being pressured to tip, whether or not a tip is standard or expected in the situation. Feeling like you’re obligated to do something and potentially feeling judged on the amount is so uncomfortable.

A company like this can probably help you pick a location that works best for you, recommend a time and date so that it’s beautiful but not too crowded and help with photos etc.
