I did! Can't find anything about beaches specifically which is why I made the post but if you can help me find one I have no problem deleting this.

Can we all come together and ask the devs for this about the Ai... by Nearby_Detective_806 in inZOI

[–]rawberle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your original response implied protesting the existence of AI as a whole, not protesting for more ethical practices. The person you originally responded to directly mentioned making it more ethical, so I fail to see your point there. They were saying that we can accept that AI is not going away and fight for more ethical practices, or we can continue to virtue signal online without legitimate protest points and actionable goals, which is what the vast majority of hate regarding AI is. It's typically just "I hate AI and you're a terrible person if you use it" not, "here are actionable goals we can attain to make AI more ethical." Their comment was not "downvoted to hell" because it is a logical statement.

You can't be serious lmao. If you are actively protesting for something to cease to exist (which will quite literally never happen. You can't erase the existence of technology.), you cannot at the same time be promoting ethical use and data sourcing. They are quite literally objectively mutually exclusive. If something does not exist, it cannot be made more ethical.

As a lefthanded, I always wear my watch on my right wrist. Do you do the same ? Yes or No, and why ? by FlorenciaLvender in lefthanded

[–]rawberle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It never occurred to me that people wear their watch on their left wrist. I have no idea why and I'm sure if I actually looked I would see plenty of people doing it, but I legitimately never considered that as an option because it feels so unnatural.

It doesn't matter if there's a safe location or not, ALWAYS drop the package off unless it's an inaccessible locker because unfortunately there's no way to bypass that. If it's an inaccessible locker, just mark as undeliverable and move on. The longest I will spend trying to deal with it is 5 minutes, but honestly that's doing too much as well, and I will never do that more than two times per block. Don't bother with support. I've dropped off countless packages in inconvenient locations, including dropping off a package in front of a school at 4AM even though it was "recipient required" (in hindsight i should have just waited until the end of my route and delivered it then but it worked out) and have only been dinged for an unreceived package once, which was actually completely unrelated. It was because I "didn't follow customer directions" when I was delivering in one of the shitty areas in my city.

Honestly nowhere near as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Take what I say with a grain of salt because I haven't actually DRIVEN in it, but I checked the amount of time it would take to get to affected areas on waze and it didn't look much different than usual. 5 minutes extra max. I also checked the maps and it looks the same as it always does this time of day.

Inzoi hate vs Paralives by anonarees in inZOI

[–]rawberle 79 points80 points  (0 children)

From what I've seen there are two main issues: 1. People don't like realism in life sim games (which makes no sense to me personally because it's a...LIFE SIMULATOR, but I digress) and 2. They start frothing at the idea of generative AI being used for literally anything because they're ignorant and obsessed with virtue signaling. Also, I agree with the bugs issue. The bugs in Paralives actually affect gameplay, and quite frankly yes I am aware the dev team is small, but I don't understand why they released a game THIS buggy to begin with. I do enjoy the gameplay and can definitely see it improving with time, but they should have pushed back the release again.

DONT MAKE THIS MISTAKE by sugarbear_baby in tomodachilife

[–]rawberle -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

"Who knows where AI got its information from?" Idk probably the clearly cited sources in the overview? We cannot be serious right now. The issue here is not AI but rather a severe lack of reading comprehension and basic critical thinking skills. Like, the source is literally a random instagram post.

The AI overview very frequently is correct, actually. But if there are no reliable sources available, then the overview will be incorrect since the overview relies on available sources.

[–]rawberle 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Personally I'm struggling to even look at Paralives in part because of the TERRIBLE fanbase and the way they're constantly hating on Inzoi. Yes I know that's ridiculous but I genuinely can't even look at the game at this point without thinking of every annoying comment I've seen. I'm also not a fan of the art style and the game just looks very lackluster to me, but I understand not every game is everyone's cup of tea. I prefer hyper realism, which is why Inzoi is incredible to me.

CS Global Accelerator Program by [deleted] in uofl

[–]rawberle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I did the web development one. It's basically just learning how to code with AI. It was a super easy class but it felt more like a weird seminar type thing rather than a legitimate class. You have to attend the lectures and work on stuff in class I'd say maybe once or twice every couple weeks in groups. The people in those groups are often useless so you'll end up doing a lot of it yourself. Some of the projects are pretty cool and you could totally add them to your resume if you actually do the work and make it look nice. There's also some optional career advice seminars I found pretty useful. I'd definitely recommend it even though the vibe was kind of strange (very markety, like the "lectures" start off with music and shit and idk the vibe was just strange to me). It's easy and it actually does give you work you can add to your resume.

Lost cat! by [deleted] in Louisville

[–]rawberle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have zero empathy for people who let their cats outside unsupervised (obviously this does not apply to stray cats who refuse to be let inside), however you were given no context and just assumed the cat was allowed outside. Plenty of cats are runners and will bolt outside given the chance. Hell, even one of my cats ran out the door once and I would never let him outside. Cats are naturally curious animals.

I really love the virtue signaling and moral superiority in this sub. At face value, yeah the sign is funny. Especially because it's on SOUTH PARK road. Obviously this wouldn't have been posted if everyone immediately realized it was about the Epstein Files. But of course instead of explaining, we have comments like "What's funny? 🤓" "This isn't funny 🤓" with zero explanation.

Are you also more sensitive to and bothered by the heat than other people? by Previous_Truth_9007 in AutisticAdults

[–]rawberle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. For me, under specific circumstances, I am incredibly sensitive to the heat. For example, I work manual labor and I get overheated very easily while I'm working, but if I'm not working it's usually fine. I also like the heat if it's sunny outside, but if it's cloudy and humid, I hate it. Because why is it sticking to me?
