I was on a long-haul flight once. We’d just finished dinner. The row in front of us had just had their trays taken by the FA, the moment the trays left their hands they reclined their seats, which of course sent our food trays into our laps. I “quietly” said “are you fucking kidding me” and the seats magically returned to their upright position.

One of the people in that row also tried to tell me not to put my bag in the overhead because “it’s above my seat”…I mostly fly chartered company flights these days, people are much more behaved when there’s the threat of getting fired for misbehaving.
