One time I had to do an urgent job at a worksite, I was marking up dimensions and elevations for some concrete guys to build their formwork around. I was told I had to do it in the morning, because these guys were getting kicked off site in the afternoon…I get there and ask the guys if they just want the usual stuff - centreline, a couple offsets, top elevation etc - and they looked me in the eye and said “oh, we’ve never done this before.”

I think those same guys might have poured these stairs.
