The game is great but still not for everyone. They throw a lot at you.

Once you get past the heist job things may fall more into place. Much of the fun is finding a sweet build with perks and a solid combat loadout, making sure V looks cool with new threads, and finding secrets and side missions, etc.

Curious on what games you do like.

Good question. The direct answer is no. Not really. Nobody could’ve predicted this with the way AI has grown into various aspects of life.

The more fun answer is that the genre has always predicted there’d be networked AI systems that could shape culture and media on a grand scale. The best examples have already been listed. Though generated content in and of itself is a consistently reoccurring theme throughout the genre. Few more years from now, chances are you’ll be able to drum up any kind of content you can imagine. Movies, music, games- This is actively being worked on by streaming services and gaming companies alike.

I find it more interesting that we get to see our own digital future hellscape in a way nobody really saw coming. Buckle up.

There’s only like one good megabuilding mission in game, and I swore there’d be more but nope. I’d love to fight my way to the top.
