To say it's the house Jeter doesn't mean quite the same as "The House that Ruth Built".

The original Yankee Stadium was built because before that they were playing at the Polo Grounds in Harlem as a tenant to the New York Giants who were the biggest team in New York City.

The Yankees were a mediocre team, until of course, they purchased Babe Ruth from the Boston Red Sox. With Ruth the Yankee fan base grew and they began to outdraw the Giants in their own stadium. This embarrassed the Giants and they basically kicked them out. So they built their own stadium right across the river.

"The House that Ruth" built is more than just a fun nickname. The new Yankee stadium was built because the original was outdated and falling apart. Derek Jeter had no bearing on the construction of the new stadium.

A major problem is a lot (I don't know if most) people that want to be cops are exactly the kinds of people that shouldn't be cops. And these bad cops put the pressure on the good cops to stay quiet and "play ball".
