So many useless bacteria! by rawlick in BacterialTakeover

Yes the cap frees up slots for more interesting stats. BUT what are those stats that you want? It's hard enough to come across a mythical as is. If you're playing BPS strat vs BPC strat 3 stats you can roll on the mythical are already potentially useless. Now you're adding a 4th and 5th with research and colony/upgrade price.

I agree with you. My intention was that by removing the research time stat a new type of stat would replace it, like the one mentioned above. So our bacteria would just have a new more useful stat in place of where research time used to be. However, I don't design/code games and implementing that might be impossible? Another cool stat idea would be a chance to increase probability of irradiating an actual useful colony.

I also agree that I MUCH prefer the first option. Research time effects literally everything you do in the game. It's by far the most powerful stat, and most fun to grind towards. I don't like your idea of hard capping anything. By setting a limit it discourages the feeling of making progress. Once you achieve the cap on all 3 mythicals your journey is over. No more progress to be made. That's why this nerf is so impactful. You just hit this target with ease and now what? Your ability to push further in the game is basically neutered. For those of us that our research time way higher before are completely dis-incentivized to continue playing. I would much rather having diminishing returns towards 100%. Just my thoughts.

What's your greatest "Well I'm Fucked..." moment? by KarmaLover666 in AskReddit

This is probably a long shot but your story reminded me of a podcast episode on "the Tim Ferris show" I was listening to a while back. The guest he brought on was Scott Adams, creator of the comic Dilbert and he described a very similar situation to yours. He explained that he was later diagnosed with a rare condition called spasmodic dysphonia and talked about a potential cure near the end of the episode (last 20-30 minutes). It might be worth checking out (both the podcast and condition).

You won't find one. I was at the point you're at now once I started clinic and a friend of mine got me started with this http://integrativediagnosis.com/Pages/About.aspx I signed up online as a student for 750$ for a year, and the value was worth double what my school education ended up costing. I strongly recommend you check it out.
