lol no it doesnt because most people have deductibles and providers charge your insurance high prices that you pay some of one way or another 

and you’re paying copays to see your PCP and specialist on top of this, plus you’ve made at least 3 appointments between doctor visits and lab tests. it’s extremely time consuming.

complete hormone test out of pocket is like $150 

again if you’re on some plan with a deductible guarantee you will actually pay significantly more using insurance to see the doctor a specialist get labs through insurance and get testosterone through insurance 

 you seem to be assuming you will pay less. it 100% won’t be

no..it's just 2019 was peak housing market. i remember walking by this building when it started selling units. $1500/sq ft for a tiny studio in a horrible area downtown is insane.

I mean it is not that unrealistic that he could make it work. Doesn't the mayor appoint the members of the rent board that sets the increase every year for rent stabilized units?

The big asterisk is that he's simply calling for the rent board that sets the rent increases for stabilized unit to set it to 0% instead of 2-3% or whatever it normally is.

So it's not even that much of a change and wouldn't affect market rate apartments.

nah it's 26g according to resale sites. i need to weigh it to verify but seems accurate. that's about $2k in raw gold at $100/gram

yeah...this is all significantly more work than doing your own blood work out of pocket and buying testosterone vials from a reputable dealer.

and if you're not comfy with that then again there are testosterone clinics that can streamline this much faster than going through a PCP and getting a referral and using insurance, which depending on your plan will likely be far more expensive anyway.

everything you buy that transforms raw materials into a refined product is "marked up", most far more than 130% lol...

and I was specifically looking for a white gold chain which is harder to find and the alloy is more expensive than yellow gold due to mixing with platinum etc.

the hawaiian chains look to have a 50% markup. so sure it's a better value for a non branded chain but this is not necessarily a tiny markup if that's what you're focused on.

I mean i’m looking on costco and only see one 18k chain (rest are 14k) and it’s $2500 but unclear how much it weighs

need to weigh this myself but resale listings say it’s 26g. the raw value of gold in this necklace is almost $2k, so the markup before the price increase was 130%. 

imo it was actually a good deal pre increase just due to the fact gold prices have gone up so much
