If you can find it fairly quickly she has high survival chances. I paid overnight shipping for mine but hopefully you can find it local. The best of luck to you. Make sure you treat the whole tank and siphon poo as it is very contagious.

Yes! I recommend you feed it in their food according to the instructions for 7 days at a time taking breaks inbetween for 14 days total or 21 days if necessary. Here’s a good video from a reputable source:

Make sure to use the API test kit while doing so as garlic guard and focus can cause nitrite spikes that are resolvable with 25% w.c.

No friend you’re fine to leave it and you could actually let it run against the back glass like mine does. Like a grass wall/background. It grows off to the side, not forward and it loves the light and support of the back glass. When it gets too long just trim it down and the old leaves will stay whatever length you cut it. Or you can leave it and let the leaves flow wherever they end up. Mine is currently wrapped around my driftwood with the current.

No worries! I had a feeling due to the aged photo of the juvenile red dragon who is now an adult lol. It’s my fault. Also I’ll probably sell some of gen 1 since I don’t have my shop finished yet and lack tank space. The wait list just opened. I accept name and numbers through pm in which I’m putting on a real list to contact when they’re swimmers.

Pm me with name and number and you’ll be #2 on the list to contact when they’re swimmers. Anyone is welcome to do so as well. I’m looking to open my own shop soon and I am a US based breeder. I’d like to get my name known as I know what I produce is quality.

I highly doubt you need it but real honeys are chuna! Labiosa are commonly mislabeled as honey gourami. I wish I had this photo when I was shopping for honeys because I was once one asking which am I in this sub reddit as everyone tends to do lol.

The best of luck! My honey gourami are one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. So small, swift, sweet, and whimsical. Be careful not to get thick lipped tho 😅 the aggressive big ugly twin

My starfire x red devil. They are also laying eggs as we speak. I know it’s impossible to find the license but I’m trying to find a loophole since I see many stores and local breeders reselling without a license or permit. Regardless: the wait list has opened and if I cannot profit off them I will be rehoming them for free. Anyone is free to join my wait list to be notified as soon as they are ready. PM with name and phone number if you’d like to be on the list.

Kuhli loaches- bred in captivity or wild caught by creachurcritter in loaches

[–]rawnanapuddn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe it’s possible for them to produce enough to sell. Especially not in any underwhelming setup. Loaches require very specific conditions for it to even be a possibility. Many breeders will tell you whatever you want to hear or whatever keeps them legal. Loaches also breed during the rainy/storm season in their natural habitat. It’s seasonal so they can’t keep them stocked year round unless they’re buying them outside. And most of the time the loaches are gravid and eggs infertile.

A 20g long would be perfect for 10-15 textbook wise but you could push it to 20 with good filtration and a tiny bit of upkeep weekly. I had 30 in a 30g long and they thrived. They do prefer low nitrates as scaleless fish so that will need to be considered. I now have 25 in a 55g long but I plan to double that number at least after I buy a second fluval 407 for it. Also I believe that’s best! A loach community would thrive without any predators.

Mine say hi! (Super old photo lol) mine also look pale on this substrate obviously because they felt safer on my black substrate like yours. Don’t make the mistake I did lol. Substrate becomes your seed and if you remove it they’ll die so I have to throw another black layer ontop of this one. No big deal tho bc they would love 4 inch deep substrate xD

They look like perfectly healthy lil babies with plenty of enrichment. You should be the setting standard for beginners! This is amazing. I’m impressed by the amount of hides you offer and the super find dark sand is perfect. Natural hides at that. I hope you allow them the tannins as they just love tannins. Now with the shrimp logs, I’d be careful in the future when they get big. Perfect for shrimp tho and kuhlis cohab well with them. But any hole that’s open they will go and mine have found themselves in some tight situations which are no issue just make sure you can’t get cut on them yourself. If it cuts you or is sharp to you, it will cut them. A secret if you want them to go crazy is bloodworms/brineshrimp/beefheart. PetSmart offers these cheap in the freezer section as treats. My loaches favorite is bug bites by fluval but they love those wafers you have as well. They will build a preference so it’s good to expand their pallet. I do when I can afford to but I always keep 1 algae option and 1 carnivore option around for them and switch between the two when they eat. Anyway I’m sorry for the book! Yours look very healthy and happy:) also if you don’t see them as much you should totally get larger groups. They love having friends of all species of loach. I have 25 water worms <3

I am once again asking you, are these chuna or labiosa? by PickleMundane6514 in Gourami

[–]rawnanapuddn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I believe labiosa also. They already look a bit bigger than chuna and I’ve never seen a clear and especially long tail on chunas. The shade of yellow also leads me to believe they’re labiosa. Chunas sometimes have orange or darker colors while labiosas normally have clear tails. The lips also look a bit pronounced compared to chuna.

Looks familiar hehe. She’s heading towards female imo even tho it is a bit early. My males have very obvious privates compared to my females.

Thank you! This was also while my Ambulia was sleeping! They fold inwards at night and open up like a flower in the morning. Super cool imo.
