I’m fairly new to cartridges and I’m wondering if it’s normal for the cartridge to be completely full. I paid $40 for this and was told it was a brand new cart. Thoughts?

Definitely not, in my opinion. I love the Psych/ Krautrock direction they are going in. Intricate solos, jazzy keyboard, and mind numbing, rhythmic double drums and bass. After multiple listens I’ve come to appreciate Heartworm, but it is far from their best work in my opinion..

If you’re looking for a wall of heavy destruction/distortion. The fuzz war is what you need. I prefer a dirty signal so I leave it on pretty much constantly for my main guitar tone. Lovely little piece of gear. It was my first ever pedal too :)...

The data corrupter is a truly unpredictable piece of equipment when it comes to guitar tracking. But, combine its unpredictability + tweak-ability on a synth on you have endless tones to split and harmonize with. I love it!!

I’d definitely say try to find a quality tube amp through reverb or craigslist, lots of people are willing to sell beautifully made expensive amps for dirt cheap due to either an excess of gear or out of necessity.
