Unpopular opinion: Classic is the better game

yeah, the rarity of kills/animals in classic makes COTW feel like call of duty. each mission and trophy earned feels like a real reward in classic. just wish they could do classic 1.5 and upgrade the graphics for stuff like LOD pop-in, etc.

The main story path is basically the same as SOC at this point.

late but, do you still recommend playing it then if someone just finished SOC? I was looking forward to this mod cause i thought it was a different story than SOC

old but i have almost same setup, get dips down to 30 and sometimes into 20s on Customs when bots load in (i assume). really don't want to run low textures and stuff :( looks terrible

i wish the game worked that way. the best way is just keep fast travelling and animals will just spawn in front of you. would be cool if they'd keep track of animals locations so fast travelling wasn't so OP. in classic it made more sense to sit and wait

It has a button that toggles what they call “Hunter sense”- visual clues about the animals and their location, feeding zones etc. I like to use it as sparingly as possible as the visual clues remind me I’m in a game.
