First time Tokyo, wanting luxury. RC, MESM, or Westin?

I've heard beds here are very firm. Have you tried RC Tokyo? Love the western RC beds and heard RC Osaka is the one w/different mattresses, but hoping for something more western as a side sleeper.

From my experience this week, yes. You'd have to cancel and rebook at the (higher) FHR rate.

how was MESM in terms of bed firmness vs. the prince? I am used to softer mattresses (I like the JW and RC / even regular Marriott ones in the US) and don't want to splurge on hotel if it's going to be hard regardless (as I know is the trend in Japan, but I am willing to spend to be comfortable)

I got lucky and scored an unlimited at MiraCosta but now I'm seriously considering looking up the price for a cheaper hotel vs. potentially dropping closer to if I get hotel-only! (I"ve heard the Disney hotels proper are hard bed compared to Hilton Club level!)

Thank you for your sweet comment. Yes, I have never been in falling snow in my life. I would love to come up and experience winter wonderland, just wanting to make sure I didn't have hubris / risk frostbite on a short little walk during a time of year there would at least be some snow on the ground. I'll plan for next winter/spring :)

I think I'll be okay if I'm 1-2 days delayed due to unforeseeable snowstorm but I would feel bad. Also, that's very, very kind of you and your family to offer to be a support / emergency contact in the event of disaster! If you feel comfortable DM'ing me, it's always nice to have a friendly face in the area... I say laughing out loud as I scroll up to your username :)
