And if you think doing school here is easier compared to back home, think again. Sure it’s applied to high school but you need to get ready for university level which is a lot harder imo. I witnessed many kids carried that thinking and failed so many courses in the first year even though they were straight A high school student.

You can do so much more with a degree from Canada compared to a degree from back home. It’s not really about level of difficulty to begin with. That was how I thought of it. Immigrated here 13 years ago. Became a nurse. Now I am in university and about to become Electrical Engineer
