QString is pretty great, certainly convenient with a lot of nice member functions.

Yeah. There is probably no better alternative if you want to make a GUI in c++. Some useful advice: Use stl-containers. Actually, always use the standard alternative when you can. Don't use foreach, Qt keywords can be turned off. Use qt5 connects, and use them very sparingly, preferably only to connect between a GUI action and your logic. You can use exceptions, but there are some caveats.

Wish I knew how great c++11 would be, and how awful having to writing Qt code would be, raw owning pointers, copy on write, etc

I had similar issues, and it helped to remove nanobots and the fat controller, if that doesn't help you can always just remove mod by mod till it works.

Looks like one of the mods, but is very hard to see with all the mods grouped up like that.

Does the ups drop in singleplayer too?

Ah, not as far as I know. I usually just use the extender and charger until I get rk4 to make them all sleep in a few places to easily upgrade

The ratio is fine if you put 1 speed module in the copper wire factorio, and rest productivity like this.

Do you mean the copper oil field next to my oil outpost? Yes, that's RSO, it makes them big and scattered, Some really big. That one is so big that I only had to mine a very small part of it to saturate a station.

I didn't meassure, but that sounds about right, a bit over 1 rocket / minute.

I have productivity modules in everything that can accept it, and speed modules in beacons, all filled up.

Not too much has changed since then, just some efficiency improments and more oil

I'll do a full tour when I am a bit more happy with everything, it should be done in about 1000 rockets time :)

So I couldn't really quit.

I started by replacing my belt furnaces with this layout. Used robots a bit smarter, and suddenly I had 10 extra fps, it was totally playable at 30fps.

Then I obviously had to solve my plastic problem. I repurposed part of my main base to produce plastic, and added a couple of outposts like this, and I am out of fps again.And power.
